On Saturday we took the boys to OMSI to see Samson - one of the most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeletons ever found. On our way there, Alan could hardly contain himself. He kept saying, "when I see that big T-Rex I'm really gonna freak out!" So cute! So of course it was the first exhibit we saw once we got there, and it was really amazing. The actual skull of the T-Rex was too heavy to mount on the body, so they had it displayed behind glass. It was really cool to see it so close-up. Aidan and Alan were in awe of how huge this creature actually was, and so was Rob and I. After a while we started roaming around the rest of the building to see the other exhibits, but after a few minutes Alan would say, "let's go back and look at the T-Rex one more time"...he didn't want to stop looking at it!
If you have any dinosaur lovers in your family like we do, you should definitely go see Samson before he leaves OMSI in September!
